History
Polaris® founder Edgar Hetteen wanted a vehicle that he could ride with his wife, Hannah. He developed a six-wheeled machine with a speed of over 25 miles per hour that was operated with a steering wheel instead of handlebars and had a closed cab. The Polaris RANGER® had a high payload capacity along with easy handling for off-road riding. This initial design has been improved upon numerous times since its release, so riders can get exactly the UTV they need for all their off-road riding.

Features
Every Polaris RANGER® UTV comes packed with incredible features that make your rides easier, more comfortable and safer than ever before. The company has been improving upon its initial designs since the release of this model, so you can rest assured that they know what they’re doing. The 2018 RANGER® XP 1000, for example, takes many of its improvements from customer feedback, including improved cab comfort, higher horsepower, a remarkable 2,500 lb. towing capacity, 13” of ground clearance and a more rugged appearance. This led to it becoming the leading utility terrain vehicle in the industry!
The new Polaris RANGER CREW® XP 1000 has taken things further by doubling the passenger capacity from three to six and adding a 1,750 lb. payload capacity along with an in-cab storage capacity of 19 gallons. You won’t want for space or power on this beast of a machine!
The RANGER XP® 1000 High Lifter Edition is made to seat six people for a muddy adventure. Its 28” Outlaw 2 tires keep contact with the ground, while its 13.5” ground clearance coasts easily over obstacles. The 4,500 lb. winch can haul heavy items, too.
